This Privacy Policy explains how Mobile Hibachi Hub handles information when you visit mobilehibachihub.com, submit a booking request, or contact us about an event.
Information you provide
Our Book Online form asks for your first and last name, email address, phone number, event date and preferred time, party address and ZIP code, estimated guest count, food order and food allergies (or “None”). You may also provide an event type and additional details or questions.
Allergy or dietary information you choose to share helps us understand the request. Please provide only information relevant to the event, and do not include payment details or unrelated sensitive information in the form. If you contact us by email or text, we receive the contact information and message you send.
How we use event information
We use this information to review booking requests, check availability, respond to inquiries, prepare pricing and event details, communicate about reservations and provide the requested hibachi service. Relevant event information is used by our team and the chef preparing the event. Technical information also helps operate the website, troubleshoot delivery and prevent spam.
Form records and email
The booking form is processed through Fluent Forms on our WordPress website. Submitted information is stored in the website database, and a booking notification is sent to [email protected] through Gmail. Website email delivery logs are also enabled. This means a request can exist both as a form record and in email-related records.
Form records can include the submission time, source page, IP address, browser and device information, and a country code supplied with the connection when available. Our hosting and email services process information as part of providing those services. Google’s handling of information within its services is described in its privacy policy.
Website traffic, security and cookies
The site uses Cloudflare for delivery and security, and loads the Cloudflare Web Analytics performance beacon. It reports website usage and page performance information. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics.
Our web server records access and error logs. These can contain an IP address, requested URL, request time, response status, referring page and browser information. Cloudflare also processes network request information to deliver and protect the site.
Normal public-page checks did not set a visitor cookie. Security checks can behave differently: Cloudflare may use a necessary security cookie when a challenge is presented. WordPress uses authentication cookies for administrator login; visitors do not need an account to send a booking request. The public site does not currently include Google Analytics or advertising pixels.
Photos, video and external services
The current event photos and videos are served from this website rather than embedded YouTube or other third-party video players. Links to outside services are governed by those services’ own privacy practices when you use them.
Payments
The booking form does not collect card numbers or process an online payment. Final payment is made directly to the chef on the event day, as described in our Booking Terms. If you use Zelle or Venmo, that service handles payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not send full card numbers through our form, email or text.
Questions and information requests
Contact us if you have a privacy question or want to ask about information you submitted, correct event details, or request deletion of a booking record. We will review the request, including any information needed to identify the relevant record. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information with your request.
